Everyone loves a white Christmas, but I’ll take a 73o one in the sun any day. After a few days of getting settled in my new city, Christmas Eve was finally a nice quiet day to spend exploring it. Despite the warm weather, this southern California city still manages to defy physics by being home to more than a couple of outdoor ice skating rinks. When’s the last time you saw somebody wearing ice skates and shorts simultaneously? After checking out an art gallery featuring classic Dr. Seuss and Chuck Jones pieces, we a took in some fresh air with a view of the bay from the convention center before deciding we just had to cross it. Afternoon and sunset were spent lounging on a warm beach outside the Hotel Del Coronado, where we found yet another ice skating rink as well as some truly delicious chocolate truffles. Chrismachanukah comes but once a year, so remember the three Fs and enjoy it with Friends, Food, and Fotos.
Happy holidays from my new home,
-Evan

WHAT kind of camera and lens are you shooting with? These are so pristine! Not a hint of noise, just gorgeous, my FAV blog ever!!
ps: Great Sand Dunes is awesome right?!?!
I just wanted to say that I love your winitrg. I admire the imagery and honesty in what you write and it is something that I aspire to do in my own winitrg. I just find it comforting that I can read such an honest take on a day to day life and still feel like I am reading a novel or fictional narrative. Thank you for making me think about my own life when I read about yours. Never ever stop winitrg, else I shall have one less comforting element to appreciate.Teresa
