Hello all from my sick bed,
I know you’ve been very patiently awaiting some photos from my three week trip to China. While it will certainly still be at least a couple of months before a full gallery is up, I thought I would share some panoramics I have already completed. The trip itself was absolutely amazing. China is one of the most beautiful, most naturally diverse places I’ve ever been. We explored mountaintop travertines, snow mountains, national parks with lakes and rivers, and of course the Shanghai skyline, which has almost all popped up in the last 15 years, looks like a scene from a futuristic movie like 5th Element. My favorite part of the trip, however, was definitely the Great Wall. Being the beginning of autumn, some oranges and reds were just starting to peek out from the brush surrounding the Jinshanling and Simatai sections of the wall, both nearly 500 years old. Much more culture, architecture, interesting characters, delicious food, landscapes and of course Pandas to come.
Happy Travels,
-Evan
